I was born in Lubbock, Texas. In 2010, I moved to Ohio to pursue my studies in Philosophy, Theology, and English Literature. I graduated in 2015, and returned in 2017 to begin my MA studies in Philosophy, where I focused on community and empathy.
I am the Director of Make More Comics, a soon-to-be non-profit based in Pittsburgh. Make More Comics has helped fund projects by Hana Chatani, Oliver Arthur, and Ignatz Award Nominee Chad Bilyeu.
I have worked as a Marketing Manager for a non-profit, growing its audience by 560% through social media, clear social listening, and engagement with our audience in meaningful and surprising ways.
Self-taught in design, I fell in love with the process of creating typographic and illustrative posters. I am increasingly interested in maximalist and artpunk styles, which I hope to incorporate more in my work moving forward.
I'm married and have three kids, currently based in Eastern Ohio. My writing has appeared in The Comics Journal.
